ICAP Result 2024
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is an autonomous professional body in the Accounting and Auditing profession in Pakistan. The organization offers Chartered Accountant (C.A.) and Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) designation to its members. Candidates for the C.A. designation must pass an ICAP qualifying examination, while those seeking the C.P.A certification must also pass an ICAP comprehensive examination.
ICAP Result Message
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has announced the results of the Annual Professional Examination 2016. The results are available online. ICAP is an autonomous professional body that offers various professional accounting qualifications in Pakistan. The examination comprises two papers, namely the Theory Paper and the Practical Paper. A total of 7,065 candidates appeared for the examination this year.
The Theory Paper was conducted in February and assessed candidates’ understanding of financial statement analysis, financial accounting principles and auditing standards. Candidates were required to answer 190 questions out of a possible 400. The pass mark was 55%.

The Practical Paper was conducted in May and tested candidates’ skills in carrying out statutory audits, preparing financial statements and other reports, conducting market studies and undertaking risk assessments. Candidates were asked to complete 120 questions out of a possible 200. The pass mark was 60%. Check ICAP Result Online
Candidates who achieved a pass mark in both papers were eligible to register for the final level exam which took place in September this year. Out of the 7,065 candidates who appeared for the examination this year, 4,818 (64%) registered for the final level exam while 2,381 (36%) opted for the deferred stage option.

How much merit is required for CA?
Students from above two categoriess will have to appear in an entrance test (QAT) to CA Program. However, students with above 60% in HSSC or three pass with minimum Grade D will be exempt from qualifying this entrance test (QAT).
