The Punjab University Pharm D 2nd Merit List has been announced and the students who have secured merit in the examination are eligible to take admission in the undergraduate courses of Pharmacy of Punjab University. The merit list is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Pharm D 2nd Merit Examination conducted by Punjab University. The cutoff marks for admission in Punjab University are as follows:

D Pharmacy at Punjab University has been ranked the lowest merit of all the pharmacy colleges in Punjab. This is evident from the results of the National Merit Lists released by CBSE and ICSE. Out of total 190 colleges placed in Punjab, D Pharmacy has ranked 131st out of all. The other pharmacy colleges in Punjab are A, B, C and D Colleges, which have fared better than D Pharmacy.
The reason for this low ranking may be due to a lack of faculty strength and infrastructure in D Pharmacy. There are only four faculty members working in this college who are also lecturers at other pharmacy colleges in Punjab. They are not able to provide adequate support to students who want to pursue a career as a pharmacist. In addition, there is no laboratory facility that can help students learn about pharmacology and drug therapy.
