The South-East Consortium for CA Programmes (SECCAP) was established in 2006 with the objective of providing quality CA education to students in the southeast region of India. The consortium currently comprises four leading CA institutes, namely, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI), and The Institute of IndianChartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
SECCAP offers a two-year full-time course leading to the award of the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. The program is designed to provide students with a sound understanding of accounting, auditing, taxation, and other financial management concepts.
To be eligible for admission to SECCAP, candidates must have:
1. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR
2. A professional qualification such as CA/CS/CMA/ACS; OR
3. An equivalent qualification recognized by the respective statutory bodies.
Candidates who are appearing for their final examinations are also eligible to apply. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to them passing the qualifying examination with the prescribed percentage of marks.
